old race cars in barns

[Quickshoe]

I am looking for an old Formula Vee. A Caldwell D13, Lynx B and Zink C4 are my preferances. I have exhausted all leads on the Vintage forum and the Formula Vee forums.

I am hoping that those of you in the IT world might know of one tucked away in a corner of a prep shop or a friends' barn somewhere. You know someone who gave it up because Vees were too ugly or too slow.

Vintage Vees are cheap, maybe a turn key ready to go, current annual tech one will turn up for sale locally. But that just hasn't happened yet.

I'm in So-Cal, the closer the better.

There was one here in town (Albuquerque) last year for sale. I don't know if it is still for sale, but I know the owner still has it.

Joe, I have been watching that site as well. I understand that one of the Lynx's that looked like a good buy recently found it's way out to So-Cal.

I have one lined up to look at Saturday...we'll see.
