NASA OH/IN will hold their final two events of the season at Mid Ohio Friday October 1, and Putnam Park October 9-10.

The Mid Ohio event will use the club course for all HPDE groups and race car test and tune, with drivers getting 2 hours of track time. The entry fee is $185, and includes our usual water, snacks, and party after the event.

The Putnam Park event will feature four 35 minute sprint races! All HPDE and TT groups are running as well. This was a great event in 2003. Entry for Racers is $235, HPDE is $285.

Registration is at www.nasaproracing.com (http://www.nasaproracing.com) and more information is available at the OH/IN homepage www.racenasa.com (http://www.racenasa.com) , or call 330.421.1900. Hope to see you there!

I remember some comments on another board that the number of registrants was low and that if it didn't improve, the RA event was going to be cancelled.

I had looked at it, but with it running the last weekend in October, I figured I didn't want to buy a set of snow tires for the car just to run the race! http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif (Well, maybe not so http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif with the way this summer has been.)

It came down to a lack of entries. After doing our track survey last year, our members ranked RA 2nd of 13 tracks in the area (Mid O was 1st). Halloween was the only date we could get. But after 8 events so far this season, some were signed up, but many were questioning the weather, or that they might be running out of (insert item, vacation time, tires, etc.). Road America has been wonderful in working with us on an earlier date for 2005, which we will announce within the month at our homepage www.racenasa.com (http://www.racenasa.com) .

We really wanted to go there this year, but the 2005 date will work a lot better for our members!

Anyone already entered in the RA event was given either $$ back or a 150% credit toward future events.
