I am going to do the 12 hr. with the Otto's Mini this weekend. Me and the other teamates have never been to the track before. We are doing the friday practice. Does anybody have any advice about the track,how to get there,were to paddock,were not tot paddock & were our spotters should be. Any advise would be welcomed.

How to get there: Exit 209 Ohio turnpike, south 1.5 miles on rt 5, right at light onto 534 for 4.7 miles, turn left onto Phalanx Mills Herner Rd for 2.1 miles, turn left onto rt 305 and Nelson's will be 2 miles down the road on your left.

Where to paddock: Up wind from the restrooms. For the Longest Day, they let us back our trailers right up to pit wall.

Spotters: Observation mound at false grid, inside the kink (Turn 11), Turn 4.

Take suspension parts. The track surface has been improved, but a four wheel off can be devistating to the car.

Take bug spray (mosquitos large enough to launch from aircraft carriers), and if you're on the track after dark, watch for frogs warming themselves on the racing line....
