My Friend has Gone.

I am so sorry to have found out that a good friend of mine committed suicide last week. His name was Jeffrey Hamel, and among many more worthwhile accomplishments, he was a real friend and a real racer. At one time , he worked with Jim Hurtebise (sp?) and also worked as an engineer with Bettenhausen Motorsports. I will miss him greatly. He leaves behind a wife and family.

Much sympathies to you and those who loved Jeffery.

To others, please realize that no matter what you are going through, nothing is worth taking your life. Too often those who are in pain don't really know how much they are loved. And sometimes they do but it's not enough. If you are in pain, please reach out to someone. People do care about you.
