Does anyone have any insight on searching these forums? I tried the search function and all it seems to be able to index is old posts (like 2001) and even those links are dead

Any help would be appreciated!

The search is very limited now due to the fragile nature of this server. (It's cheap) and large searches are very resource intensive.

We will be upgrading the site and server in teh future but for now...it's a very low priority ... sorry.

Thats cool...thanks for the answer! I am encouraged at the increase in dialog between you, the webmaster, and the rest of us!

We all appreciate the site, and I know some of us get all weird when it goes down.

It has proven to be an important IT resource.

Thanks!

The old forum data was trimmed down quite a bit last night.
We created a new index and now search functionality is working much better.

Cheers,

OK, that does work better, thanks. However, when searching for dom (as in DOM Tubing), it was hitting on random and I'm sure other incomplete words that I didn't see (i.e. there was no reference to just dom in the text).

Just an FYI.
