Anyone know the condition of the track. We are planning to come out for the double in June from Massachusetts. We had heard it wasn't in good condition but also that they had been doing repairs.

Bring that ITS car down we've been been testing at the Ledges and it's in good shape. They have been repairing it. New track records were set for the National just held there.
See ya 11th & 12th

Where do we stay out there, having a hard time finding a hotel. Is there anything going on Friday for testing?

I'm staying at the Day's Inn in Niles....about 20 miles away. Not the closest but by far reasonably priced. Lots of places to eat there. 330.544.1301 Days Inn. As for Friday it is a open test day. 1000 to 1630. By the looks of it, I'll be there testing.

Nick--You simply heard wrong.

The track is fine and has been that way for the last several years.

New improvements are paddock fix-ups and a repaved pit lane!

Come down and enjoy. This is a very challenging track.

See and judge for yourself.

Cheers.

The record for ITS at Nelsons is 1:16.151 set by Edward York in a BMW 325i on 8/20/2000, so that one is ripe for breaking with all the new pavement and improvements since then. By the way that average lap speed was 94.562 mph! Fast track! Compare that to your local average speeds. You carry a lot of speed at Nelsons. Fast sweepers, both flat and banked, fun!

Thanks. Also heard it was in a E30! Nick's first shot at the track netted a 1:16.5 on old tires...no freshies in the wagon this weekend so it'll have to fall another day!

Looking to take home a Double win however...
