Hey guys.

I live in the Rockford, IL area, and am trying to get my annual tech inspection done, but am having a hard time tracking down the powers that be do to it. I have written several people who's name is on the web site ( the tech official and the secretary ) but no answers. Anyone have a contact of someone somewhat close to rockford that I can contact to get my inspection done in the next 2 weeks.

thx

Wade:

It's kind of a haul, but Milwaukee region has an open house on the 28th of this month at one of the local Honduh dealers. As part of it, they offer annual inspections. It's handy because everyone is there for a specified time period. Just roll the car off the trailer, run it through a comfortable indoor tech, and head home.

Checkout http://www.scca-milwaukee.org for more information.

I'll second the Milwaukee Open House. If you have an open trailer, they just pull you into the service bay and do the tech with the car on the trailer.

They do? Shoot, why didn't I know that last year!

Maybe my car will be ready in time, now. Especially if I don't need to start it...

Are you attending the Gateway Double School? There will be a tech inspection available on Friday if your attending. Doesn't really help if something's wrong though.

Yep. Attending the gateway event at the end of the month, so need it before milwaukee. would have no problem with the haul otherwize.

also, wanted to get it done before getting to stl, and realizing something needs addressed.

arent you normally able to just find a tech steward and get them to do it? just cant find one who will answer email.

thx

From my experience, the tech people tend to be of the older persuasion and my not check their e-mail as often as us youngsters. It's probably best to just give a call.

I did the gateway school last year, all I can say is it was great...But it did snow and sleet on us last year. Missouri weather in the spring is sunny and 70 one day and snowing and below freezing the next. You will have fun. Bring something warm to wear.

Thx.

I would give them a call, but the web site only shows email for them. I will call the contact number and track them down.

I figured so much on the weather. living in Northern IL, its not much different. Glad my trailer is heated http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

Hmmm... and what might your trailer look like? I'll stop by when it gets cold and we can discuss that ITS cage http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/biggrin.gif
