The 2004 NASA OH/IN Event Schedule is up at http://www.racenasa.com/pdf/SCHEDULE_04.pdf . There are also early bird discount packages available at www.racenasa.com (http://www.racenasa.com) for those who sign up for multiple events in advance. Up to a 25% discount!

The schedule is complete with 9 event weekends. Sprint Racing, HPDE, and the new Midwest Endurance Championship, a 6 event, 6 track, 12 hour (total) Season long championship.

HPDE and Sprint Racing events include at least 1.5 hours of track time per day with two races during the weekend. 2004 should be a lot of fun with events from Road America and Mid Ohio to Nashville Superspeedway and Putnam Park. If you have any questions please email [email protected] or call 330.421.1900.

See you at the track!

Good luck to all in 2004. Happy Holidays!

Congrats on the ALMS support races! If only the Calais had 4 more cylinders, or spoke German. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/biggrin.gif

That makes irony #2 in the lauded SCCA/IMSA operating agreement. First, they scheduled Petit Le Mans on top of the Runoffs next year. Now, while Steve is hunting down drifters, we have NASA sanctioning support races at an IMSA/SCCA Pro event. http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif

I'll plan on instructing at the M-O HPDE's.

The endurance championship looks interesting. I ran quite a few years in the Endurace Championship Racing series in the Southeast. It was extremely competitive a few years ago but has dwindled some now. Moving up to Detroit I was kinda dissapointed to see the SCCA didn't have something similar....maybe I'll check it out.

Anyone have any idea how big the fields usually are?

Not very large for 2003. I think we had 15 start the 3 hour at BeaveRun in September. However, during our early bird registration time (discount entries till Dec. 29)we have already had 5 entries for 4 or more of the events. Should be around 20+ for most events.

What do you mean about the ALMS support races? I don't see any mention of them?

Unfortunately the cost for doing the ALMS support races became too great, and we had to bow out. We are hoping to be a part of the event for 2005.
