Fall Sprints/Area 5 Championship:

The following participation certificates will be given out to drivers at the Area 5 Championship Fall Sprints at Blackhawk Farms October 11th and 12th:

1. Drivers who have run in all 10 series events will receive a free entry to this years Fall Sprints. There are three drivers who could qualify, and they will have their entry fees refunded by the committee if the enter the final race

2. Drivers who have run in 9 of the series races will be given a voucher for $100 off any Area 5 Championship race next year.

3. Drivers who have run in 8 of the series races will be given a voucher for $50 off any Area 5 Championship race next year.

Drivers do not have to be entered in the season ending Fall Sprints to receive vouchers, with the exception of the free race entry. By default, if the eligible drivers do not enter they will receive a 9 race voucher, but the Area 5 Championship Committee would like to invite all of you to participate. All vouchers will be paid by the Area 5 Championship committee out of Sponsor and series entry fees.

Please remember that the Fall Sprints is a DOUBLE POINTS event.


Trophies:

The Series will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies per the series rules. These will be mailed as soon as possible after the series points are totaled.

Additionally 1st place winners will receive a nice Area 5 Polo type shirt. You will be contacted for size information after the Fall Sprints.

We will be conducting a survey to see if there is an interest in continuing the series.

In addition we have been considering dropping out of the Cen-Div Series (Area 5 Racing Regions). Would like your input on that.
