Did I read the entry correctly?

IT7 with the ITS cars and ITA with SM this weekend?

and why no practice sessions?

just a 20 minute qualifying session each day

9 laps or 30 minutes? whichever comes first?

can you please explain this rational to me a little better

Mike

My guess is the SM guys complained to much. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif
But, did you noticed in the supps that there is a split start for the SM/ITA race?
That should make the ITA race better.
(Glad they didnt do that last race)

I didn't notice that ITA & SM pairing. I know why they put that as the last group, they'll be lucky to get 3 full-course green laps in probably.
Sure, cheap entry fees, but we'll pay much more in body damage.

whoa, he is still alive...Hey Mike O. Are you bringing that mega HP 240SX up here to play? (I didn't think SR20DET swaps were legal in IT)

Jim

and of course this schedule is subject to change on their whim.

which probably means that IT7 and SM will be grouped together again and they'll split start us instead.

(Of course their idea of a split start is http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

1/2 the SM's start in front of us so when they crash in turn 1, we run into them and the other 1/2 of the SM's will start behind us so they will crash into us while we're sitting still in the carnage.

Will be back soon to add to this thread, first I need to call my broker and tell him to buy Bondo stock fast.

Hey Jim! You've got a dual personality on here...hehe its66 for one, and ITA240 still helping us little ol' Nissan guys every once in a while.

I won't race in Sebring, but might be in the area as a spectator. I bought a house so my budget has been "reallocated".

How's ITS treating you?

Does anyone know what the deal is with pitting in the garage area? I don't see any specific mention of it in the supps or the parking sup that was posted to the CFR website.

Is it first come first serve? Is there an extra fee for using the garage?

Just curious as it would be nice to park my black race car in the shade.

Thanks

Richy, is it gonna be a battle of the Gonzalez brothers? I'll start taking bets...........

I'll take Ritchie.

Russell, if you mean parking your car in the area under the pit structure, I seriously doubt it. We do it for other clubs like PBOC but I don't think CFR allows it. If you could get someone to approve it, I don't think they would charge.

Have fun all. The Bullit is still in pieces.:>(

Rob,
It should be a good battle between Richy and I. ITA vs. SM. This will be the first time the GB Racing brothers will be on the track together. No matter what, we both always have a blast. Looking forward for the Saturday night story telling. See you all at the track.

Yeah, under the main pit structure. Like at Daytona where you can use the garages for a fee, I figured that Sebring would be the same way but maybe I figured wrong. It seems like using the 12hour paddock is still a new thing though. I was going to bring my easy-up anyways but it sure would be nice to park on concrete!

Thanks Marc.

Richy or Ray? More like how many times is Richy going to lap him? http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/cool.gif I hear Ray is looking for some "evans" horse power to try to keep up with CRX. Hey Ray, here's a little secret, "CRX brakes SUCK" Either way, IT WILL BE A BLAST!!!

Rob,
Let's take get a big enough spot where we all can pit together. Scott Seck might even come down and play with us too.

Now that he is not single, I suppose the "SHEEP" sticker is completely inappropriate??? Just a guess!!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to drop a "thank you" to everyone who stopped by this weekend and said hi and congrats on the baby. It's been a while since I was able to make it out to the track, but rest assured I'm back! I had a great time, there was a ton of fun, even in the rain this morning, and I hope to see everyone at the ECR in a few weeks.
