I really should know this by now but I've heard conflicting opinions. So...
Do we get regional points for a SARRC race?

Yes, Mike.

All races run in the region, with the exception of ECRs, should count toward the Regional points championship.

Mike,
Yes we do. Just found out myself.
Here is the link:

The fifth line down:
"Points are awarded for Regional and SARRC races"
See you at Sebring.
What will you be driving this time?

Thanks Chris and Rod. Rod, I'll bring the BMW if I don't sell it first. It's such a fun car to drive and I moved up several positions (3rd first weekend out) over my best finish in the RX-7 (9th). But still, I don't want to ball it up before I can sell it, so after that I'm gonna park it until a new owner takes it over. I've got too much invested in Mazdas to switch over to BMW at this time. I have my ITS RX-7 ready to go if somebody buys the Bimmer at the last minute. Its a really good deal for a BMW 325iS. I'm thinking I might bring the IT-7 I'm building down to the ECR in September, assuming that I have it finished by then. That'll be fun to drive and compare the first gen again after driving a second gen for a year. Its all about having fun and you guys are great sportsmen and good friends, so there's plenty of fun to go around. Say hi to Tammy.
Have a nice 4th. Be safe.

You should start driving more endurance races, since you wont have to stop for a cigarette break now. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif

I will as soon as they make the endurance races 3 hours or longer. These 90 minute sprint races don't even have me breathing hard anymore.

Walking 5 miles a day and running 2 is great for my endurance. Oh course my Dr. was having a fit because I was running but after the stress test she wants to start working out too.
