The Bridge at Limerock

So this weekend we will be trying out our new tow rig set up and it just occurred to us that it might not fit over the bridge at Limerock.
I don’t know what the limits of the bridge are? Is it the approach and turn? Weight/Width?

It is a Ford F250 (2dr NOT an extra cab) W/8ft bed that will be pulling a 2 car 43 ft Gooseneck trailer with 3 axles.
Does anyone know if this set up can make it over the bridge? Or is there a “posted” size limit that is available? Or is there typically a track employee at the gate that can eye ball me before I wedge it in.

And are we required to make prior arrangements to get in if we can’t fit over the bridge?

I bet you will fit but they can let you through at reg. I don't think that you need to make prior arrangments...

Our quad-cab F-350 + 44 foot tag makes it....BARELY.

Smarty takes the Hoosier truck (Ford F350) and the Trailer (45ft triple-axle) over the bridge with no problem. He just has to swing wide when coming in to make that right-hand turn up and over.

Thanks for the info guys.

It sounds like the rig will physically fit across, but I will have to figure out what it weighs now!!

My best guess would put us WELL under 10 tons
Golf 2300
Scirocco 2200
F250 6000
Trailer ????? it cant be more than 4,000 empty.(right?)

A little thing that I figured out. It's FAR easier to leave going on the "wrong" side of the bridge...the angle is more gradual in the road. I have a "little" 24' double axle and a Ram 2500, so I imagine it might make a nice difference for you "big" guys.

Yeah, it can weigh more. A typical 20 foot Pace without much interior is something around 3500 lbs.

Our 26' Trailer is 4200# empty - I imagine that trailer is around 5-6k# - not including spares, etc.. which can easily add 1-2k
