Anyone else notice that there are barely any events at LRP and NHIS for most car clubs this year? Even driving schools, time trial, etc.

Is it possible that some of the Northeast clubs are finding Lime Rock with too much baggage and going elsewhere?

Lime Rock does have its share of downsides:
1) I read on some site (maybe here) that they vastly increased their rental rates for 2005 (maybe 50% increase)?

2) There is that insane DB limit.

3) They start out a day shorter with a 6 day week (missing a weekend day no less) because of that archane old agreement with the town. They are already a day short to start vs other tracks.

4) The lovely dirt paddock & rest facilities

Me personally given all that, I just opt to run at Pocono, the Glen or Summit. I dont even bother signing up for Lime Rock events anymore. They always cost more money to go there and get hassled about your exhaust.

I have heard lots of good stuff about NHIS, but for me personally,,, living in Northeast PA,,, its a 7 hour tow, so I never made the haul, again taking the path of least resistance (Pocono 30 mins, Glen 2 hrs, Summit 4.5 hrs).
I did see that COM and SCDA had what looked like alot of NHIS dates though.
