No enduro driving experience, but I did crew and do strategy for the winning RX-7 at the Longest Day at Nelson in.........1983, which will do me NO good now!

Is there a Holiday Inn Express in the area??

Crew: Crew...yeah...haven't figured that out yet.....

But I did go and buy a used McDonalds shake machine which I will install for cool refreshment along the way! In the car...remember, the whole crew thing is a figment of my imagination at this point!

Anyone know about pit space assignments? Random? First come first serve? Who to talk to?

Is there any written list of sups for that race - ie can you work on the car while fueling, does the fire man have to have nomex etc.

ITSRX7

The Supps are on the NER web page. If you are doing your registration on-line, its all there.

BTW - Make sure you bring your duck tape for numbers - you may not get your first choice!!!

40 cars. The pre-reg list show individual drivers. Should be at the limit from what I understand.

Oh and there is a good chance that the green rabbit and myself will be back next year.
Good luck all.

After Shumacher turned him down he called me next (makes sense doesn't it), but I told him I was a HONDA guy, and driving an acura would be a step down and not good for my career.....

Hey have fun guys, and keep off of the turn 2 wall.

Well thats odd! He asked me before he spoke to Schuey but I already have a prior commitment.

Exactly how would driving an acura be considered a step down when two of them finished in front of you last time out?
Maybe you should consider crochet as an alternate career. They say it helps to soothe the mind http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/biggrin.gif

Dick you might know the answer to this one. Does anyone know if we will be allowed to bring our pit stuff to pit road with a pick up truck?

should be okay. worst case you will have to do it during lunch break which is right before the enduro starts. you will have to remove the truck before the race starts.
