Has anyone developed one of these cars? Any info/comments would be greatly appreciated!!! Would it be competitive?

If this is the DOHC 135hp car, I think it could be VERY quick. IF you could make as much power as the Honda's, the limiting factor would be the strut-type suspension design and you would have to do a lot of development.

I think these could run in the top 3rd if well developed and well driven.

There was one running in MiDiv about 6 years ago. It was bloody fast. Legal? Dunn'o. Where is it now? Same answer.

Thank you for the response! It is the dohc motor with about 130 hp stock. I've been testing the car with euro-spec kyb struts and am running out of valving for the spring rate needed to balance the car. I've spoken to ground control and for about $400 a corner they will build struts. Has anyone had any experience with Ground control?

Ground Control... Does a top notch job. They have maybe the best non-remote resivor shocks and the parts are very well built. And to top it all off they are just super guys to deal with.

There is an Escort running in ITA in the south-east by JAMES STOCKBURGER. Goes well when its not smoking.

I've got their Advance Design double adjustables on my car. Dunn'o how they work, since the engine is still apart - but they look good! http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif

The Advance Designs are a decent economy alternative. But be careful..they have been developing a reputation that isn't robust.
