The BMW Z1 isn't classed in IT, would it be possible to get it classed in IT? Comments?

Anything is possible but *I* think it's a horrible idea. Why would you want a car in class that was so expensive to build, maintain and repair? Low volume is a BAD thing. Everyone should have a fair shake at getting one...how many are outside Germany?

Well, that would depend, I suppose on if you had one given to you. I run www.gt40s.com (http://www.gt40s.com) and have lots of UK contacts and have been offered an option on one. Getting it here is a little trouble, but I've brought a car from Australia before and sort of know how it works.

You learn a lot more traveling down the untraveled roads, I've found, although it might be frustrating at times.

I like odd things....

I wonder how the board would view those crazy doors?

Not legal. IT cars must have been sold in the US (grey market does not count).

That is what I remember. I was more or less fishing for stories of cars that had no US history being used in IT under some strange pretext.

Well, I heard a wacky story about some guy building a Johnson-Wheely (or something like that). Claims that THEY were imported to the US but nobody I know every saw one running on the street...

No, no, I've at least seen Johnson-Wheely's rolling on US streets. Not under their own power, but rolling none the less.

And, I hear if you crank the 12th fessor valve up to 11, it will run like a raped ape (faster than a scalded dog).

Funny thing is, I'd never seen a Jensen before we picked this one up on the trailer........hmmmm......except in pictures.

I wonder if we can get it to run as good as a Stuck Pig? I hear they have more torque than a Raped Ape.
