Hi all,
I race an '85 MR2 in ITA. Yes, I know it's not the best car for the class. She is not the best prepared racecar out there, either.
Stock springs with 1 coil cut out, Tokikos, tired stock motor with over 100k miles. Oh, yeah, I race on Falken Azenis, 'cause they're cheap! Last year I got one 3rd, two 2nds, and one 1st (over a really well-built CRX on Kuhmos!).
I am seeking advice on spring rates, and any sources of aftermarket parts for this car, esp. camber plates, rear end gears...

Thanks, cya racin'

if you're finishing top 3 every race in an MR2 then don't change a thing!
Lots of good info at www.mr2oc.com (http://www.mr2oc.com) there's a few ITA racers there and a few Prod racers too.

Thanks 4 the info. I must admit that those finishes were out of 3-4 car fields. Not a lot of ITA cars in RMDiv. http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/frown.gif http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/frown.gif

I just finished building an MR2 for ITA. The owner races it in the MIDIV. I have tons of pics showing the struts I made, camber plates, fuel cell, cage, Advance Design strut inserts etc. Post or send me your email and I'd be happy to send them (the pictures, not the parts http://Forum.ImprovedTouring.com/it/smile.gif ) to you.

Hey Monkeyboy...in the future, my opinion is that it would be better for you to contact the person off line first before making a comment like that.
