Looking fo advice on accusumps. I want to put one in my 944. How easy/difficult are they to insatll? How much plumbing do you have to do? Where do you tie into the engine? What's a good brand and where to get? How much extra oil do they take?
Thanks!!!

There are only two brands(as far as I know)--Moroso and Canton. It's a pateneted device.
They do take some install planning with respect to determining where you want to place it and running the -12 (possibly -10) lines to the sandwich plate on the motor.
If you use an oil cooler, you will need a check valve.
Canton has three sizes--a pre oiler, a two quarter and a three quarter.
Save your money and just get the manual shut-off valve rather than the electric version.
The two quarter works just fine.
Cheers.
Jeff, can me a call or email me, I'll give you the scoop. And save you a lot of work and money.
