Hi,
I need to mount a kill switch in a first gen RX7. I want it to be accessible when I am belted in. It would fit nicely in the left hand air vent, but I'm not sure if this meets the "easily accessible from outside the car" requirement in the GCR since, it would essentially be behind a lateral bar of the roll cage.
My next best option is to weld a plate above or below the lateral bar where it meets the front hoop, but this is pretty close to the steering wheel, probably less than 2" away.
Any suggestions? Will the vent mount pass inspection?
